Music & Business

So, as I mentioned yesterday, the last couple of weeks have been really hectic. Creating Marketing Plans, One Sheets, Ads, portfolio, reading about hegenomy within the music industry, legal issues, copyright, publishing and recording agreements, concert promotion and production etc etc etc...School is really time consuming but the classes are really good and grades are really really good. Hard work pays off kids so stay in school!

The agency has also been busy, our postcore act NO HAWAII toured Europe for 2 weeks in October and everything before and during the tour was hectic. The guys did awesome and we are syked to get them back on the road next year. Endless work awaits as usual, finding record labels, booking tours and the usual stuff that keeps our heads above water. Stay tuned for more info about the release of their debut album... Should be some kind of announcement in late November.

Our hc/punk act THE PROCESS (where I play the guitar and scream when needed) are planning new recordings and tours as soon as I get back to Sweden. Really awesome songs in the works. Stay tuned for more info.

Nesseria, our french friends are currently touring the UK, go to the shows and support them, they are really good. The just signed with Trendkill Recordings and will be releasing their debut album in December. We will help them with some dates for their tour in February... keep your eyes open.

The agency is going through a few changes at the moment. I am in New York and I just had to make a few changes to facilitate the modes of operation. I have been getting assistance lately and this will continue in the future. ALL SYSTEMS GO! is growing and the bands are moving forward all the time, and I just can't keep up in a good way alone. So much for the one man army... I just reached my limitations I guess. I am really exited for what the future hold for us and our acts. Buried in school and agency work is always good for me, but I have missed a lot of shows lately...Some light at the end of the tunnel is very much needed, there has been a whole lot of lonlyness - but no regrets!

I will post again on Friday, I will tell you all about the CONVERGE show! i will also talk about some political stuff as usual. i will talk about CIA payouts to Afghan leader's brother, who apparently is a central player in the booming Afghan opium trade... Shocking according to the New York Times, but this is basically CIA standard procedure - just look at Colombia.... Stay tuned.
