I have been in hiding for while. School and work with ALL SYSTEMS GO! has been very time consuming. I will get better with this blog. I have said that before. Endless homework and a busy agency are strong forces that affect my list of priorities. Blah blah blah.
Anyways, I spent one week in NYC in the end of September. No real plan, no ambition, nothing pretentious. However, I got a visit from a very special person from back home. I had be looking forward for that week in NYC since I left home...
We spent our long awaited time together by having breakfast in Central Park, cruising the city and hanging out.
We saw Machael Moores new movie, "Capitalism - A Love Story". Not his best work, to little facts and to many jokes for my personal taste.
We spent a rainy Sunday in Harlem and we had breakfast at The International House of
Pancakes... Good stuff!
We missed a few shows, Fever Ray and Yeah Yeah Yeah's mainly, but we did get to see the awesome band MONO (jpn) and MASERATI (us) at the Bowery Ballroom. A really good night, I enjoyed an awesome set from both bands and I really enjoyed the best company possible...
Many hours were also spent in the hotel room...watching horror movies, the Jerry Springer and the Steve Wilco show.... Epic moments...
